Organic Japanese Genmaicha is made by mixing organic bancha with roasted rice. This premium green tea offers a naturally sweet taste with a hint of melon and chamomile, with an aroma that includes a slight hint of pistachio.
BREWING GUIDE Makes 1 cup / 230 ml of tea
1. Bring fresh water to boil and let the water cool down for around 2 to 3 minutes before adding into a cup or teapot. 2. Add around 1 teaspoon of genmaicha tea leaves to your infuser per cup of tea 3. Let the tea steep for 2 minutes 4. Genmaicha can usually be used for 2 or 3 infusions.
Genmaicha is generally brewed in a teapot, however it is fine to brew in a cup with an infuser. If you are brewing in a teapot, be sure to add enough tea leaves, on the basis of 1 teaspoon for every cup of tea .
